A telecom giant on the clock to modernize
A US telecom giant faced the urgent task of upgrading networks for 600 multi-dwelling unit (MDU) customers to comply with new security requirements. This required reconfiguring Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and identifying MDU customers by Pre-Programmed Keys (PPKs) instead of MAC addresses. With a tight timeline and the complexity of managing both old and new network configurations, they sought expert support to complete the project while minimizing service disruptions.
Reconfiguring 600 MDUs with zero downtime
TSG deployed a team of skilled network engineers who designed a new Pre-Shared Passphrase Key (PPK)-based network and conducted testing while maintaining existing network operations. After completing the tests, we seamlessly migrated the MDUs to the new network and dismantled the old infrastructure, ensuring no customer service interruptions.
