Legacy systems slowing AI ambitions
A leading California utility aimed to integrate advanced machine learning capabilities into its existing data infrastructure to accelerate decision-making and strengthen safety and reliability. As part of a growing Digital Transformation initiative, the organization faced the challenge of modernizing legacy systems, managing massive data volumes, and enabling AI-driven insights across critical operations—all without disrupting ongoing services.
Building the blueprint for AI at scale
TSG partnered closely with the client’s Digital Transformation and engineering teams to design a future-ready architecture and technology roadmap built to scale AI adoption across the enterprise. By assessing current infrastructure and identifying modernization opportunities, TSG developed a five-year strategic plan focused on AI development, MLOps enablement, and advanced analytics integration. The roadmap outlined clear phases for data modernization, model deployment, and operationalization—enabling faster insights, predictive decision-making, and enhanced system safety. Through this collaborative, structured approach, TSG positioned the utility to move confidently from experimentation to enterprise-grade AI execution.
